OPENING STATEMENT

For over 8 months Marksman Arms has been stuck in a massive battle against SAPS and we continue to experience the wrath of their obsessive corruption and retaliation which we will document HERE in the coming weeks.

Over the last 8 months we have also fought another battle, one that has seen Dawie and Adri Nel produce a shockingly dishonest account for a media show hellbent on carrying a skewed narrative. To be quite frank, Carte Blanche calling themselves investigative journalists is a degradation of that title which insults ACTUAL journalists who do excellent work in a fair, balanced and respectful manner. These are gutter journalists who use intimidation and shock tactics to garner viewership and stir up a public kangaroo court.

We would have preferred to kept this out of the public eye but because of the extent of the fraud and obviously because they decided to use the ONLY play left by going to the media and trying to spin a story, we have been left with ZERO choice but to defend the integrity of our company.

It is literal INSANITY and absolutely mind boggling that the Nel's and then the Leeches of Sasolburg took this approach, their hands are all dirtier than scum and we are going to ensure accountability...LOUDLY.

INTRODUCTION

This page is dedicated to exposing the Nel’s. Our SAPS battle is not to be tarnished by their blatant lies.

The below is not going to be pretty, we have battled with this internally for many months and much thought has been given, every possible association approached and hours of legal advice provided. We have tried to shield innocent clients who are going to be exposed but unfortunately as we have unravelled the extent of the Nel’s fraudulent training empire and questionable firearms trading we have found that we cannot excuse most clients who had to have been complicit.

Whilst we will give the clients the benefit of the doubt and the presumption of innocence, we will not afford the same and we will not have leniency on the Nel’s and their associate Koos De Beer.

We remind every reader that THEIR decision to head to the media was an attempt to shield themselves from accountability, both civil and criminal, however, just like the leeches in Sasolburg, we will not hold back and we will not stop our legal assault, we will expose their criminal activity and we will expose their corrupt dealings.

EXPOSING THE LIE

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

This was a simple transaction made complicated by the Nel’s through an unhinged Dawie Nel. There were two agreements agreed to and signed. We will provide a brief history which will rebuke the lies told by the Nel’s and aired by the worst example of journalists on the planet.

We will split the timelines between Agreement One and Agreement Two. Agreement one is null and void but we have to mention this as it provides the truth because of the dishonesty and blatant lies told by Adri and Dawie Nel. 

Once the lies are rebuked, easily and with evidence, we will then turn to the biggest concern:

AGREEMENT ONE

Simply put, we signed an initial sales agreement where HVZ, as the nominated member, would pay R1 Million in 20 payments of R50,000 for 100% of the members interest in Marksman Arms and Firearms Training cc.

The Nel’s would remain in the store focusing on Dawie’s Gun Smith business and at the same would be there to ensure a smooth handover.

In the second week of June 2025, TTN had a meeting with Dawie Nel regarding opening new bank accounts, new accounts at suppliers and we were required to submit documentation in the USA for our export permits.

Dawie Nel explicitly stated, and repeated multiple times, that he did not want to do any of the above as he was going to be out of the company anyway. We noted that we required signatures of all the members of the CC in order to complete our business.

It was at this point that Dawie told JCS that we must just remove him from the CC so he is not held liable or responsible for any accounts.

Around the 11 June 2025 HVZ requested a copy of his ID as we required this to remove him as a member at CIPC, he was also required to provide his OTP at the CIPC AND once we had received the updated CK documents we requested the same OTP’s required by SARS to change the Tax and VAT profile.

Over a period of +- 14 days, Dawie Nel provided JCS the OTP’s 12 times, lawfully required to affect these changes.

This completely rebukes Adri Nel’s television portrayal that they were unaware of the company changes. She lied, BLATANTLY. Furthermore, in the second agreement, drafted by their attorney, the above was acknowledged and ACCEPTED by all parties.

The above is all moot because of the second agreement but it is very important to illustrate the amount of bullshit that was spoken, accepted as fact, and broadcast as such by the Gutter Journalists. We going to have fun with this lot.

AGREEMENT TWO

The Nel’s were paid their first instalment on 22^nd July 2025 after they finally decided to send all the requested paperwork. We were supposed to complete a full hand over the following day which was Tuesday 23 July 2025. Unfortunately, they then decided to hire an attorney and so this was the start of another month delay. The second agreement was provided by their attorney, amended a few times by our attorney and the final agreement was signed.

We finally took possession of the shop on Tuesday 12^th August 2025 and this was, and still is, where the absolute nightmare started.

BREACH OF CONTRACT

Simply put, the Nel’s warranted that the shop was compliant, lawfully managed and met all legal requirements for a firearms dealership and registered firearms training centre.

Within 72 hours of taking over the store it became VERY clear that MAFT was anything but compliant, the firearms stock list provided was bollocks, their “training division” was a sham and of course the revelation that KDB was not a registered or approved instructor was just icing on the cake.

Furthermore, Dawie by his own admittance was involved in trying to influence various filings of our paperwork through his relationship with the DFO WO Breetzke.

This is why we suspended all payments, we had taken over MAFT and with what we had discovered had inherited a shit circus. We offer no further explanation and no apology and we once again categorically dismiss those Gutter Journalists portraying the Nel’s as victims.

The ONLY victims in this are the customers they duped.

TTN are not victims because we have resolved to expose these CLOWNS and do our best to assist INNOCENT parties.

ANY individual or company that is complicit, including a few security companies, will be exposed. We will not hide or protect ANY corrupt transactions. We have mountains of portfolios of evidence.

We will now detail this below because the consequences are dire for those involved.

THE GREAT FIREARMS TRAINING SCAM

500+ CLIENTS AT RISK AS OF 25 APRIL 2026

BRIEF HISTORY

Within the first 7 days of taking over the store we had 5 disgruntled ex-clients of the Nel’s enter the store. The main gripe was that they had not been provided with their statement of results and asked us to assist.

As we had access to the last 5 years of portfolio of evidence files (POE’s), we managed to locate these and this is where we discovered our first 5 bogus training files. This was obviously a shocking revelation for us, unsurprising but shocking never the less. 

In fact on 21 OCTOBER 2025 JCS and HVZ demanded a meeting with the Nel's and Koos De Beer where we unequivocally made our feelings known and we gave them the opportunity to make this right or we would take action. 

They chose to head off to the gutter journalists and spin a story in an effort to deflect attention, no doubt thinking we would shy away, BUT just like we are going to show those Groenewald leeches (READ HERE), you chose the wrong group to attack and you have underestimated the resources we have. 

You have only achieved one thing:

You have stoked an already burning fire of determination and now you will get what you deserve.

ROLE PLAYERS

Dawie Nel

The registered responsible person for firearms training on the SAPS system and was the individual with the registered access to the LMS system of the PFTC.

Koos De Beer

We have no idea what Koos did prior to this but Koos De Beer was the unregistered “instructor” who performed the training at Marksman Arms. Dawie simply signed off.

In fact if anyone has seen Dawie deal with a simple mobile phone, we very much doubt Dawie has ever uploaded a file on the LMS system of the PFTC. This was all performed by Koos De Beer.

Adri Nel

Wife of Dawie Nel and was listed as the responsible person of the firearms dealership. Adri and Koos worked within 2 metres of each other and no doubt both assisted in the administration of the training.

Adri was also responsible for making the payments to Koos De Beer for his duties. We have provided bank statements below and highlighted examples just to be thorough.

LET US NOW DELVE INTO THE ALLEGED FRAUD

1. KOOS DE BEER

KDB was not a registered nor licenced instructor and therefore was not qualified to invigilate classes, mark books should he be uploading these to the LMS.

Through our investigation so far he did not perform any practical shoots, when the CLOWNS were required to do a practical shoot, let’s say because a client KNEW THE LAW or they met a client they actually could not rip off then Dawie performed this function.

HOWEVER, ANY client who was “trained” by Koos De Beer and merely signed off by Dawie was provided an alleged fraudulent proficiency certificate, which would then lead to an alleged fraudulently obtained SAPS competency, which then could have led to an alleged illegal firearm being on the streets.

(Well done in tarnishing the industry you scum. Where are those gutter journalists now?)

2. PRACTICAL SHOOTS NOT PERFORMED BY CLIENTS

As we began working through the POE’s it became evident that HUNDREDS of these files were filled with targets that had ”bullet holes” that just could not have been made by any recognisable calibre.

We then began the tedious task working through all the POE’s and we are currently making copies and recording each and every file with a suspect target.

What the CLOWNS would do is:

• “Shoot” the targets on behalf of the clients.

• Poke holes using various objects to make it appear as if the targets were shot.

• Get lazy and hang up multiple targets and fire into them. This would leave burn marks on the first target but the rest would not have the same burn marks and obviously as the bullet slowed down the holes would get smaller and some targets simply had indentations JUST barely visible.

• Some targets were just left blank, signed by the client and Dawie, possibly forgotten in the pile of deception.

• Use a BB gun to shoot round pellets into the targets. This is an assumption on our part but on Friday 24 April 2026 we spent the day trying to establish WHAT they used and we concluded that not even a 4.5mm air rifle pellet was small enough to make the holes.

• In fact, sometimes there were such good marksman on the range that they “shot” holes in exactly the same spots on both their practice and qualification target. Jerry Michelak would be proud!

• Turned the safe into an indoor shooting range even keeping a backstop. Not for clients but to shoot the targets FOR CLIENTS. tsk tsk

The extent of this fraud should shake this industry to the core, alas let us turn to how our discovery was received and how we have been treated.

GUESS THE BULLET

PROFESSIONAL FIREARMS TRAINING COUNCIL (PFTC)

We approached the PFTC via a few calls in January and February 2026 where we requested them to send an assessor / investigator as we wanted assistance on what to do about this absolute shambles.

We not going to mince words here. We were largely ignored.

On the 3^rd March 2026 JCS sent a long email detailing the extent of this fraud and once again asked for advice and for the PFTC to guide us on what steps we would need to take.

We have followed up with NUMEROUS calls and to date, it is essentially 4 months since we approached them, we have received ZERO assistance.

We have spoken to Carrie and Jenna from their office and we also spoke to the Chairman who informed us his mandate does not entail any investigation into the fraudulent behaviour of accredited training providers and this function needs to come from Jenna in the admin office.

JCS spent an hour on the phone with Jenna for this matter. To date we have received ZERO assistance. We have followed up again just a week ago and got the same old reply.

We have promoted TTN as the change, and we will not hold back here:

• We firmly believe that as the professional body, who NEVER fails to send an invoice at the end of the month, should in the very least have attended to our SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS within four months?

• There are serious holes in the training system. The Nel’s were able to bypass moderators and assessors but we understand how this was done and we will provide our report which we will post below.

• Whilst unconfirmed from the PFTC it has come to our attention that the Nel’s are planning to open another training centre. This WILL NOT HAPPEN and we will launch legal challenge. 

DFO WONDERBOOMPOORT:

WO BREETZKE (WOB)

Our expectations to be assisted by WOB were zero and he did not disappoint. In September 2025 and then again in November 2025 when another irate client had walked into our store we approached him about this shambles.

We paraphrase but in a nutshell, as he had told us previously when he refused to hand in our documents and import permits, this is a civil dispute and he will not get involved.

A CIVIL dispute? Blatant alleged fraud? This is CRIMINAL if we ever saw it.

In fact WOB will appear on our radar multiple time. So we will leave this here.
